Principal’s Report

Hello All

We have got to the end of Term 2. I want to say a huge thank you to all the staff for all their hard work this term with sickness and absences, this term has been a difficult one. But as ever they have gone way beyond what is expected of them to make sure the classes run well.

I also want to congratulate all the students. It has been amazing to watch all of them take part in the Music Rocks program this term. They have been outstanding every one of them. To watch them play the electric guitar, sing into a microphone or play the drums with such enthusiasm has been humbling as I am not sure I could do it as well! I cannot wait to see how they progress next term.

The new Admin block will be ready for use on the first day back next term. Deb Brown and I will be over there so please feel free to pop in and have a look around. Also the Designer working on our rebrand will have the designs ready for the beginning of next term so please keep a look out for the information coming home.

Many thanks to all of you who have completed our parent community survey. If you have not already done it, please go to:

If you need help please see anyone in your child’s class.

On Sunday, 28 August we have our P&C fund raiser at Bunnings in Belmont. It would be wonderful to see lots of our families there to support us and if you are willing to help out for an hour or two please let either me or Annemarie know. The money raised will go to the Adventure week in term 4.

You will find the term planner at the end of the newsletter. Next term commences on Tuesday, 23 July 2019. A reminder that Pyjama day is on Friday, 5 July and is a gold coin donation, that will go towards the year 6 graduating year.

Have a wonderful safe holiday and enjoy your time together.

Newsletter Term 2 - 2019 Pink Team

Thank you to our amazing Pink Team for a successful assembly item. Our students did a fantastic rendition of “Wheels on the Bus” singing with gusto! Our buses looked fantastic with all the students “on board”.

During the term, we have had fun making and creating with boxes, sticky tape and a whole lot of imagination. Our clever students have made castles, boats and all sorts of fun buildings. I am amazed at the level of detail that goes into each individual creation. Our latest creation is featured with bells on the side, a telescope and a watch house for the sailors to see rocks ahead.

We hope that you have a happy and safe school holidays with lots of time to rest and recuperate!
